Snakes and Rattlesnake Removal: $150*

(520) 833-1644 or (520) 909-1420

Call quickly and keep an eye on the snake!

The longer you wait to call, the farther away the snake can be. Call immediately and watch the snake until we arrive. This is a good time to take a picture to send to us!

The $150 covers 30mins of search time for us. If the snake cannot be located in 30min, you have the option to have us continue searching @ $75/30min. Keep an eye on the snake.

  • Snakes, and rattlesnakes, are a common sight around our area, and they end up quite literally on our doorsteps all the time. We handle them daily, and care for them greatly. Snakes removed from your property are released in their preferred habitats. Some rattlesnakes removed from properties are “recruited for training”, we use them in our Snake Avoidance Training for Dogs, before they are released. We will never harm snakes.

  • We have many species of snakes in our area! Please feel free to text us a picture of your snake before/after you call and we’ll happily ID it for you and let you know if its cause for concern. Also keep in mind that the majority of our snake species are non-venomous and provide a lot better pest control services than SWS can.

Wildlife in Chimneys:

Limited to 1 story residences, generally, for roof access although we can snare/net 20+ft down longer chimneys

Birds and raccoons are our go to suspects when a client brings up a noise in their chimney. A fluttering noise and feathers coming from the fireplace usually differentiates the two. Animals in the chimney are generally in no immediate danger. Our air-conditioned houses keep the smoke shelf the animal is on cool enough, and as long as we get to them within a few days they do just fine after release.

Doves: of all varieties are the most common chimney bird. Whether they’re spooked by predators, or just because doves aren’t the brightest of birds, once they go down the chimney, they cannot open their wings enough to come back out.

  • Birds of all types are netted from the roof, but sometimes we get lucky and can reach into the fireplace to grab doves by hand and we will check that option first.

Owls: Immature Great-horned owls are a less common find in chimneys. The younger birds are trying to stake out a territory in life, but resident owls aren’t too keen on that. The immature owls get “chased” down the chimney and are stuck because they can’t open their wings enough to come back up.

  • Owls are always netted from above on the roof.

Raccoons: Raccoons, particularly in the spring, are another common sight in chimneys. These raccoons are not stuck and are just using the chimney for housing. The climate-controlled, protected smoke shelf makes the perfect nursery for mother raccoons. Occasionally we do see individuals who are using the smoke shelf for the A/C and there’s no family involved at all.

  • Adult/individual raccoons are body snared and brought up the chimney to be secured for removal.

  • If babies are present, please refer to our Furbearing Wildlife Expanded Information page. Eviction will be attempted.

Wildlife in Predicaments:

This covers a broad variety of issues. Wildlife is wild, and animals get stuck in the darndest places and find themselves in the weirdest situations. If this happens on your property give us a call.

  • Javelina falling into construction trenches

  • Skunk cornered in the liquor storeroom at a local resort interrupting bar service

  • Screech owl turned around in vents.

We have endless stories about wildlife in predicaments. We’ve seen plenty, but we always look forward to helping animals out of wherever they end up next.

We remove dead animals from your property. Whether it’s your beloved dog/cat that needs transport for cremation, or a javelina is bobbing in your pool, we can help.

  • Wildlife will be transported to an area far from roads and people to let nature finish doing its job.

  • Pets can be transported to the facility of your choice.

Cost of removal varies widely based on the size and state of decomposition of the animal. Fishing a bobbing squirrel out of your pool is a lot less technical than a bloated javelina that’s been floating a few days for example.

Call for more information on your particular situation to discuss cost. Minimum $150 service call.
