mouse desert pocket mouse in live trap. Live rodent and mouse trapping possible at clients request

Mice

Live cage trap or snap-trap kill trapping only. We only service mice that are in your home! We can’t impact mouse populations enough to keep them out of your yard and landscape long-term, but we can share some helpful tips and tricks for managing them.

o   We first locate areas mice are using to enter the home by doing a top to bottom inspection. We then report our findings back to the homeowner with an estimate for the trapping, and the repairs/exclusion. If the estimate is approved, we then begin trapping the mice until the majority of mice are removed. At this point we can seal up any entrances that the mice were using (we don’t want to trap a large number of mice inside to die and get stinky which is why we get a head start on the trapping). After sealing the trapping continues until the traps come up empty, and the homeowner is no longer seeing or hearing evidence of the mice.

Our licensed contractor will seal and exclude all entrances the mice were using to enter the home. Repair bird boards, seal vents, door seals, garage door seals and trim corners. Ensuring quality repairs throughout the process.

packrat in live cage trap. Packrat and rat trapping is possible at the owners request

Packrats and Roof Rats

*Roof rats are an invasive species and will only be kill trapped or live trapped and humanely euthanized*

Live cage trap or snap-trap kill trapping only. We service packrats both inside the home, and at landscape level. Whether its packrat nests in your grill island or just removing nests in your yard to keep them away from your cars.

o   Inside the home, we first locate areas packrats are using to enter the home by doing a top to bottom inspection. We then report our findings back to the homeowner with an estimate for the trapping, and the repairs/exclusion. If the estimate is approved, we then begin trapping the packrats until the vast majority of packrats are removed. At this point we can seal up any entrances that the packrats were using (we don’t want to trap a large number of rats inside to die and get stinky which is why we get a head start on the trapping). After sealing the trapping continues until the traps come up empty, and the homeowner is no longer seeing or hearing evidence of the rats.

o   In the yard, we first locate and mark all nests within 20yds of your yard (and outbuildings, parking structures, other things of value to you etc). The homeowner is then given an estimate for the trapping, and for the nest removal after trapping. We highly recommend doing both.

o   Nest removal happens after we have trapped out all of the rats living inside the nest. If you have multiple nests in your yard, we “march” the traps from one end to the other, clearing out all of the rats from the area before removal. Trapping them first prevents them from quickly rebuilding nests after removal. We then remove the nests including as much of the nest debris as possible before spraying the old nest area with enzymes to neutralize the smell of urine/feces to prevent other rats from smelling it and moving in. Nest material is then hauled off to the dump or green-waste for proper disposal.

botta's pocket gopher in hand. Gopher trapping and gopher removal are lethal methods only

Gophers

*Kill trapping only*

Gophers live almost entirely underground, and feed on plant roots. This makes live trapping on the surface practically impossible. For this reason, we only kill trap for gophers.

o   First we inspect your property and figure out roughly how many gophers we’re after and what soil conditions they’re tunneling in. We can then give you an estimate for the trapping.

o   Gopher tunnels are located, and a hand shovel is used to expose the tunnel before traps are placed in the tunnels themselves. We cover the hole and mark the traps with a flag so that everyone knows where they are. Traps are checked and reset every other day until you are gopher free.
